Update on Classes

    At the beginning of the semester, I had everything under control but now that its getting closer to the end of the semester I’ve started to fall behind a bit. This semester I am taking Professional Practices in Design, Eastern Religious Traditions, Capstone and this class, Social Media Strategy. Three of them I have semester long capstone-like projects. I’ve need designing a newsletter for the School of Visual and Performing Arts within the Ohio Northern branding. I have been designing maybe items for my dad’s musical performance band for my capstone. Lastly, putting together the plan book for this class for Xcelerate Media. 

    There is definitely a lot of stress lifted off my shoulders now that I have presented for this class. I now have to finish up the newsletter, my binder requirements for capstone and give my final presentation in my religion class. I have great content for my newsletter and the most on track with that project. We give our final presentation to our client during finals week. My binder requirements for capstone are due next week which includes my résumé, portfolio, artist statement that is 10 pages, a submission to an art show and a very structured final presentation. My religion class is very challenging since it’s about eastern religions, although, I find it very interesting. 

    After I finish all of the requirements for capstone I think I’ll have an easier week without that workload. Then I’ll have to focus on my final presentation in religion and then end with my design class. This semester had been very stressful because once I get all caught up in one class, I’m suddenly behind in another one. I just hope to finish strong so I can relax over break.
