A Little About Me

Hi, my name is Annaleia Altstaetter. I am a third year Graphic Design major with a Public Relations minor. The reason why I chose to go to Ohio Northern University was because I used to live in Ada when I was younger so campus feels almost like home to me. Throughout the my two years I’ve spent here, it has come closer and closer to my heart. My dad also works here in the admissions office in Weber so the tuition discount is also a big reason why I chose to come here. A little about me, I am the oldest out of 5 kids. I have a brother named Aaron, who is a freshman this year at ONU. I have a sister named Ella, who is a sophomore in high school. And two little brothers named Josh and Caleb, they are 12 and 10.

Being the oldest has pushed me to grow up faster and have a motherly aspect on life since I practically helped raise them. With the experience of babysitting my siblings my whole life, I found a passion for being a nanny/daycare worker and that’s exactly what I did this past summer. I was a nanny for 3 boys of the ages of 5, 7, and 8. I also worked at a daycare where I helped watch 6 toddlers and I had a blast!

Those two jobs took up a lot of my time this summer so every bit of free time I had I used to its full potential. I would go to the beach, I would go get boba with my sister, I would have movie nights with my friends, and so much more. If I had a day off I would spend that day doing something productive and creative. I started a project and was determined to finish it. It was a 2 ft by 2.5 ft poster that I covered top to bottom with drawings of mushrooms, flowers, eyes, and used vibrate colored markers! But that’s a little about me so hopefully you enjoyed!

  1. We seem to have had very similar summers! I’m also the oldest daughter, and babysat all summer long. My younger brother is much older now, but I babysit my cousins often! I may be bias, but I think Toledo has the best boba at a restaurant called Balance! Also, I absolutely love your artwork!
